Stitch Fix July 2014 Review

Stitch Fix

My Stitch Fix stylist is the best! If I could hug her I would. I LOVED my fix again this month. I really love how most of the pieces I received can transition from work to casual. Based on my past fixes, I had very high expectations for this fix and was pleasantly surprised to find that Stitch Fix exceeded my expectations once again! Read on to see what I kept this month.

WHAT IS STITCH FIX?

Stitch Fix reminds me of the personal stylists that they have at Nordstrom or similar stores, except I’ll never actually meet my stylist and all of the items are shipped directly to my door. When you sign up, they ask you to fill out a style profile, where you specify sizes, price ranges, shapes, styles and any colors or patterns that you prefer. You pick a date that you want your fix shipped and they send you a box of 5 clothing and accessory items hand-picked based on your style profile. You can schedule one delivery or sign up for automatic monthly deliveries. You pay a $20 styling fee for each box, which also includes delivery. The $20 styling fee is applied as a credit towards anything you keep from your box. If you purchase everything in your box, you receive 25% off the entire purchase.

MY TENTH STITCH FIX

So here is my tenth Stitch Fix box:

Stitch Fix July 2014 Review on Spoonful of Flavor

(1) 41Hawthorn Natasha Front Pocket Sleeveless Blouse – $54

The color of this blouse is gorgeous and I love flowy tops for summer. This is a great piece to wear to work under a blazer or with jeans or shorts on the weekends. I love the pocket detail and v-neck.

Collective Concepts

(2) Collective Concepts Mason Abstract Chevron Print Layered Tank – $58

Out of all of the pieces in this fix, this was the one I liked the least, but I still loved it! I don’t wear much of anything with red in it so it probably isn’t a pattern I would normally choose. I love the light delicate fabric and warm colors.

(3) Collective Concepts Cathleen Abstract Chevron Tulip-Sleeve Blouse – $68

The print on this top is fun and the color combination is gorgeous. I really love the collective concepts pieces. The sleeves pop a little bit which makes it unique. This blouse works well tucked into a pencil skirt or worn casual with denim.

(4) Moon Collection Salerno Sleeveless Fit & Flare Dress – $68

At first I wasn’t sure about the color of this dress. Even though I love pink, it does scream Barbie. The fit was great and I love the flare. I’m hosting a bridal shower soon and also attend a few charity related events where I think this dress would work well.

(5) Pomelo June Polka Dot Skirt – $58

This skirt was my favorite piece in this fix. I don’t wear a lot of polka dot pieces but LOVE this skirt. It fits as if it was made for my body. I love it paired with the turquiose blouse. The quality is great and the fabric is actually quite soft. Great piece!

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

MY OVERALL THOUGHTS

I kept it all! Everything fit great and the colors, patterns and styles were perfect. My favorite two pieces from this fix were the 41Hawthorne tank paired with the Pomelo polka dot skirt. I couldn’t wait to wear the two pieces to work. After another great fix, I am looking forward to next month!
