I’ve had a lot of requests for sweet treats lately. From birthdays to retirement parties and everything in between, people are in the mood for sweets. With the holidays approaching, fudge is the perfect snack or post-dinner treat. It is perfect to give as a homemade gift and takes minimal time to prep and cook. The combination of the creamy white chocolate, sweet tart cranberries and crunchy pecans creates a fudge that is so good you won’t be able to eat just one piece.

i made this today. I put in in the refrigerator around 1:00pm I took it out around 8:00pm it was still soft and gooey. I couldn’t even cut it. I followed the recipe I made two batches. I have put them in the freezer now. I hope this helps them set. Is there any fix for the fudge if it doesn’t? I’d hate to throw it out!

    • Ashley

Hi, Cathy! I am so sorry to hear that your fudge didn’t set. If it still hasn’t set, you can try reheating it in a medium saucepan and add an additional cup of white chocolate chips. Once reheated, pour it back into the pan and chill until hard. The additional cup of chips should help it set.

Thinking of Christmas, wonder how much it would change the taste to put pistachios in it? The red and green would be very pretty in the white chocolate!

    • Ashley

Hi, Melissa! I’m sure the pistachios would work well. Great idea for the holidays!
