Wow, I can’t believe that this is my 16th Stitch Fix box! I love looking in my closet and seeing all of the fun new pieces. Since I started Stitch Fix I have added a lot more color and patterns to my wardrobe. I love that each piece I receive is unique. There is never any pressure to buy items but I always end up purchasing more than I think I will. My stylist at Stitch Fix always knows exactly what I like. Read on to see what I kept this month in my Stitch Fix January 2015 review.
WHAT IS STITCH FIX?
Stitch Fix reminds me of the personal stylists that they have at Nordstrom or similar stores, except I’ll never actually meet my stylist and all of the items are shipped directly to my door. When you sign up, they ask you to fill out a style profile, where you specify sizes, price ranges, shapes, styles and any colors or patterns that you prefer. You pick a date that you want your fix shipped and they send you a box of 5 clothing and accessory items hand-picked based on your style profile. You can schedule one delivery or sign up for automatic monthly deliveries. You pay a $20 styling fee for each box, which also includes delivery. The $20 styling fee is applied as a credit towards anything you keep from your box. If you purchase everything in your box, you receive 25% off the entire purchase.

MY SIXTEENTH STITCH FIX
So here is my 16th Stitch Fix box:
(1) Margaret M Christiana Jacquard Print Pencil Skirt – $78
Although this skirt is very similar to one I kept from my second Stitch Fix box, I love the print, color and fit. It is perfect for work and very comfortable.
(2) Market and Spruce Alan Cowl Neck Asymmetrical Cardigan – $58
I love cardigans! Living in Florida, I wear them often because they are easy to throw on when the weather starts to get chilly. I’m not a huge fan of the color and the fit is kind of strange. I’m not quite sure how to wear it so it looks good.
(3) Just Black Kristy Skinny Jean – $78
I pulled these jeans out of the box and told myself that I definitely wasn’t going to like them and that they would probably go back. But, as always, I tried every piece on. I love these jeans! The wash/color isn’t what I would usually choose. Most of my denim is dark blue but these fit perfect and are really comfortable. Just Black is made especially for Stitch Fix and they seem like they are really good quality. I am curious to see how they hold up compared to my other denim.
(4) 41Hawthorne Carson Graphic Chevron Cross-Front Blouse – $64
This blouse was another piece I pulled out of the box and thought that I wasn’t going to like the hem. I tried it on and love it. The fit is great and it is fun and pretty. I love pieces like this because I can wear them under a jacket or cardigan for work and add a little color to my outfit.
(5) Octavia Henry Birds on Branch Infinity Scarf – $28
I love this scarf! I think this scarf is probably one of Stitch Fix’s most popular pieces because I have seen it on other people often. The colors are gorgeous and it is great quality.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
The winners from this fix were #1 (Margaret M Christiana Jacquard Print Pencil Skirt), #3 (Just Black Kristy Skinny Jean), #4 (41Hawthorne Carson Graphic Chevron Cross-Front Blouse) and #5 (Octavia Henry Birds on Branch Infinity Scarf). I love that my stylist sends pieces that will work well with items I received in previous fixes. And she always sends at least one piece that I wouldn’t usually try on, but love them once I actually try them on. I can’t wait to see what I receive next month!
