Stitch Fix Review December 2015

Wow, where did the time go? The past few months were a whirlwind with new projects, preparing for the new year and the holidays. In the meantime, I didn’t have a chance to snap pics of my November Stitch Fix, but I am back today to share my December Stitch Fix. In a few days, I will already receive my January fix too. I still love Stitch Fix as much as ever. In fact, the past few months I’ve received new styles and pieces that I love so much, I keep asking my stylist to send me more. Read on to see what I kept this month in my Stitch Fix review December 2015.

WHAT IS STITCH FIX?

Stitch Fix reminds me of the personal stylists that they have at Nordstrom or similar stores, except I’ll never actually meet my stylist and all of the items are shipped directly to my door. When you sign up, they ask you to fill out a style profile, where you specify sizes, price ranges, shapes, styles and any colors or patterns that you prefer. You pick a date that you want your fix shipped and they send you a box of 5 clothing and accessory items hand-picked based on your style profile. You can schedule one delivery or sign up for automatic monthly deliveries. You pay a $20 styling fee for each box, which also includes delivery. The $20 styling fee is applied as a credit towards anything you keep from your box. If you purchase everything in your box, you receive 25% off the entire purchase.

MY TWENTY-SIXTH STITCH FIX

Stitch Fix Review December 2015 featuring Daniel Rainn, Liverpool, Market & Sprice, MTLA and more!

(1) Market & Spruce Tavira Knit Double Breasted Jacket – $68

I love blazers but I didn’t really like many of the ones I received in previous fixes. For this fix, I asked my stylist to send me more casual pieces and I love that she sent this blazer. It is casual and incredibly comfortable. It has a great fit and can be dressed up or down. I buttoned it in the picture here but I usually wear it unbuttoned.

(2) Papermoon Bastille Tulip Sleeve Blouse – $38

I LOVE this blouse and have already received many compliments. The color is a beautiful garnet and the sleeves add a unique and beautiful touch. (I apologize for the wrinkles!)

(3) Liverpool Rizzo Skinny Pant – $98

These pants are PERFECT! They fit great and are super comfortable. Best of all, there are no buttons or zippers so you just pull them on and go. I love to dress these pants up or down.

(4) Daniel Rainn Beeler Split Neck Blouse – $64

I’m not crazy about the pattern or colors on this blouse. It’s not really my style even though I usually really love Daniel Rainn.

(5) MTLA Kristin Fleece Legging – $38

The color and fit of these leggings are good. They are definitely leggings so you need to wear them under a skirt, dress or long shirt. I don’t really like that they are fleece. I have yet to wear fleece in Florida and I don’t think I want to start.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

The winners from this box were #1 (Market & Spruce Tavira Knit Double Breasted Jacket), #2 (Papermoon Bastille Tulip Sleeve Blouse) and #3 (Liverpool Rizzo Skinny Pant). I love the pieces I kept so much, I think I have worn them multiple times since I received them. In fact, the pants are one of the most comfortable pairs that I own.  My stylist at Stitch Fix always knows exactly what I want and I can’t wait to see what I receive in my next fix!
