In my quest to eat greens every single day, chopped salads often appear on my lunch and dinner menu. They are easy to pull together and are packed with flavor. My Southwest Sweet Potato Chopped Salad and Creamy Chicken Fajita Chopped Salad are always on my rotation along with this Autumn Chopped Salad with White Cheddar Dressing. Now that pears and apples are in season,  I love to add them to salads for a crisp sweet flavor. Combine them with crunchy pecans, dried cranberries and other fresh ingredients to create the best autumn salad. Ingredients 

  • 3 ounces  white cheddar dressing, (we use organicgirl brand white cheddar)
  • 5 ounces  butter lettuce
  • 2 slices cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1 small pear, cored and chopped
  • 1 small apple, cored and chopped
  • 3/4 cup chopped avocado
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup pecans, can even use candied pecans

Instructions

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl. Mix to combine. Serve immediately.
