Have you ever tried an acai bowl? Acai bowls and smoothie bowls are two of my favorite ways to start the day. It’s a smoothie in a bowl topped with fresh and crunchy toppings. They are full of fresh fruit and nutritious ingredients and will fuel you up for the day ahead. The bowl is vegan and can be made gluten free too. Feel free to experiment with your favorite toppings. I use bananas, fresh blueberries, granola, coconut, cocoa nibs and more to complement the acai-blueberry flavor.
