Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North is a desert oasis featuring Talavera Restaurant, Proof American Canteen and the Chef for a Day Program!
The Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North is the type of place that you want to book a return trip before you even leave. Located in the Troon North section of Scottsdale, this Four Seasons property is a desert oasis. The landscaping, accommodations, amenities, and restaurants are exceptional. I highly recommend the Four Seasons Resort for any trip to Scottsdale. It is a great location for a girl’s getaway, foodie escape or couples weekend. Not only is it a beautiful property but there are also so many things to see and do right on the property. You can spend the weekend and never leave. Rent a poolside cabana, relax at the spa or hike one of the nearby peaks. No matter what you choose, you will not be disappointed.
The accommodations and amenities at the Four Seasons Scottsdale at Troon North are everything that you would expect from a Four Seasons property. It is a relatively small resort so I love that even when it is at full capacity it never feels crowded. In fact, except for when we are at the pool, it feels like we are the only people on the property. It is quiet, beautiful and luxurious. Each room is housed in a beautiful adobe casita with their own indoor or outdoor fireplace.
I love the Four Seasons Resort in Scottsdale because I love being pampered and relaxed. With fun afternoon snacks and an attentive staff, I definitely feel like I am on vacation at the resort. I love to spend the afternoon by the pool in one of their poolside cabanas. Even in the middle of the desert, I feel cool and refreshed thanks to their poolside misters and refreshing frozen treats.
One of the most unique experience at the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is the Chef for a Day program at Talavera Restaurant. The Chef for a Day program allows you to go behind the scenes and into the kitchen to work directly with the executive chefs. It was interesting learning about how they prepare for dinner service, where they source their ingredients and why they love the job that they do. The hands-on-experience is something that should not be missed!
I even piped French Macarons with Executive Pastry Chef Lance Whipple! The Chef for a Day program is an experience that I will never forget and hope to do again on a future visit to the resort.
After the Chef for a Day program, you have the opportunity to dine at Talavera Restaurant at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North. The restaurant has a beautiful outdoor seating area that overlooks the valley. In addition, the restaurant has a beautiful inside seating area with room for large parties.
I loved everything about our meal at Talavera Restaurant. The flavors, presentation and service were excellent. I really don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu, but we love the lamb, scallops, and chilled cucumber-honeydew soup. I would recommend the six course tasting menu to experience a little of everything. Talavera Restaurant is the type of place that you can return to again and again and never get bored of the menu. With fresh ingredients and unique flavors you will find something on the menu for everyone.
Proof American Canteen is another restaurant on property that should not be missed. Proof serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and is a casual spot to relax and grab some delicious food. I highly recommend starting the day at Proof. Be sure not to miss their fresh squeezed juices and Bourbon Pecan Sticky Bun. It’s all about balance, right?
Overall, the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North is one of my favorite resorts in the entire United States. I love that it combines luxury accommodations, beautiful desert views, unique experiences and exceptional food. I am already planning my next trip back and can’t wait to explore more of everything that the property has to offer!
Thank you to the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North and Experience Scottsdale for the opportunity to visit the property! As always, all opinions are my own.
