Spiced Trail Mix is loaded with crunchy almonds, cashews, pumpkin seeds and coconut flakes. Roasted with maple syrup and spices creates a healthy snack!
I’m trying to get in the habit of preparing meals and snacks ahead of time. I always meal plan so that I have a plan for the week, but I am not very good about prepping meals ahead of time. A lot of time can be saved by prepping. Dicing peppers, cooking the rice, etc. I try to make my snacks ahead of time, but I noticed that when I was really busy before the holidays, I would end up buying a lot of snack bars and pre-made nut mixes from the store. There is nothing wrong with buying premade healthy snacks, but homemade snacks are always better. They are more flavorful, cheaper and unique than premade snacks. I am trying to be more concisous about prepaing snacks ahead of time and storing them.
Again this year, once a month I will be contributing a recipe to Oh Sweet Basil. Last year, my No Bake Mini Raspberry Cheesecakes were one of Carrian’s top 10 recipes for the entire year.
