My last fix was the best one yet. I have worn the pieces that I received in my last fix multiple times over the last month, and many pieces twice in one week. I brought my last fix with me when I attended BlogHer Food in Miami and received numerous complements on the pieces. So I had very high expectations for this fix and was pleasantly surprised to find that Stitch Fix exceeded my expectations once again! Read on to see what I kept this month.
WHAT IS STITCH FIX?
Stitch Fix reminds me of the personal stylists that they have at Nordstrom or similar stores, except I’ll never actually meet my stylist and all of the items are shipped directly to my door. When you sign up, they ask you to fill out a style profile, where you specify sizes, price ranges, shapes, styles and any colors or patterns that you prefer. You pick a date that you want your fix shipped and they send you a box of 5 clothing and accessory items hand-picked based on your style profile. You can schedule one delivery or sign up for automatic monthly deliveries. You pay a $20 styling fee for each box, which also includes delivery. The $20 styling fee is applied as a credit towards anything you keep from your box. If you purchase everything in your box, you receive 25% off the entire purchase.

MY NINTH STITCH FIX
So here is my ninth Stitch Fix box:
(1) Collective Concepts Lydia Floral Print Key-Hole Blouse
I knew that I loved this blouse the second I pulled it out of the box. I received a key-hole blouse in my last fix and really love the style. The color and print on this blouse is absolutely gorgeous and it is very high quality. It can be dressed up for work or worn with a pair of shorts on the weekends. This blouse is definitely my favorite piece in this fix.
(2) 41Hawthorn Farah Fit & Flare Striped Dress
I was really happy that I received this dress in my box because I’ve been wanting a flare style dress. It is sleeveless, lightweight and perfect for summer. I am planning on wearing it to work with a blazer. It has small black stripes which give it a textured look and it is very flattering. I was worried that it might flare too much at the waist, but it is actually pretty slim fitting.
(3) 41Hawthorn Astor Ruffle Front Tank
The color of this tank is gorgeous and perfect for summer. But, I don’t really like the ruffle on this tank. It looks pretty at the moment but I’m worried that if I wash it even once, it will no longer keep its structure.
(4) Dear John Finnegan Roll Cuff Denim Short
I love the color of these shorts. They are very lightweight and more like a lightweight cotton fabric than denim. I was actually surprised how much I liked them because I am very picky with shorts. Unfortunately, they are too small so there is no way I could keep them.
(5) Papermoon Lupita Colorblocked Cross-Back Tank
In my previous fixes, I’ve received a few flowy tank style tops. The blue colors on this one are very pretty. It has a criss-cross pattern in the back. I don’t own anything like this top so it is a great addition to my wardrobe.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
MY OVERALL THOUGHTS
The winners in this fix were #1 (Collective Concepts Lydia Floral Print Key-Hole Blouse), #2 (41Hawthorn Farah Fit & Flare Striped Dress) and #5 (Papermoon Lupita Colorblocked Cross-Back Tank). I would have kept the shorts if they had fit. Because you can’t exchange items for another size, I requested that they send me the shorts in a bigger size in my next fix. Besides the shorts, my stylist always sends the perfect sizes. The colors and pieces are gorgeous and my stylist really knows my style. I can’t wait to see what fun summer pieces I receive next month!
