Stitch Fix Review September 2015

Happy two year Stitch Fix anniversary to me! Yes, this fix is my 24th fix. I’ve been receiving a new fix each month for the past two years. The best part is that I still love every single fix. Spring and summer is usually my favorite time to receive Stitch Fix pieces because I love the fun summer colors and styles. Now that fall is right around the corner, I am actually looking forward to receiving a few fun pieces for fall. Read on to see what I kept this month in my Stitch Fix review September 2015.

Stitch Fix reminds me of the personal stylists that they have at Nordstrom or similar stores, except I’ll never actually meet my stylist and all of the items are shipped directly to my door. When you sign up, they ask you to fill out a style profile, where you specify sizes, price ranges, shapes, styles and any colors or patterns that you prefer. You pick a date that you want your fix shipped and they send you a box of 5 clothing and accessory items hand-picked based on your style profile. You can schedule one delivery or sign up for automatic monthly deliveries. You pay a $20 styling fee for each box, which also includes delivery. The $20 styling fee is applied as a credit towards anything you keep from your box. If you purchase everything in your box, you receive 25% off the entire purchase.

(1) 41Hawthorn Eliza Lace Trim Blouse – $64

I really love everything about this blouse. The color, pretty lace detail and fit are all perfect. However, I already have a blouse that is almost identical to this one.

(2) Everly Isaia Dress – $68

My Stitch Fix stylist really knows what I like and I am completely in love with the color of this dress. The top part of the dress is really pretty too, but I’m not crazy about the fit. I think it needs to be fitted around the waist more. I tried it with a belt but then the length is too short. I really want to like this dress because the color is beautiful but I’m not sure about the fit.

(3) Eight Sixty Gabre Eyelet Dress – $88

I loved this dress before I even tried it on. The color is perfect for fall and the eyelet detail is fun. It is also very comfortable. I love the scoop in the back because it is high enough to wear a regular bra with it.

(4) Hailey 23 Casey Printed Swing Skirt – $54

Unfortunately, this skirt doesn’t work for me. It is a little big and I don’t really like the fabric, cut or fit. I received the Hailey 23 brand for the first time in this fix and am definitely open to trying this brand again in the future.

(5) 41Hawthorn Abrianna Longsleeve Knit Cardigan – $48

I already own this cardigan in a different color. While I do like the sweater, I’m not sure I want another one in this color. Or it could just be that the day I tried this sweater on it was close to 100 degrees and I can’t even think about wearing long sweaters until fall weather arrives.

The winner from this box was #3 (Eight Sixty Gabre Eyelet Dress). I really loved the first too pieces too but decided to pass on them because the fit wasn’t quite right on the dress and I already own a very similar blouse. The best thing about Stitch Fix is that even though I only kept one piece in this fix, I know that I will be receiving another fix in a few weeks. My stylist at Stitch Fix always knows exactly what I want and I can’t wait to see what I receive in my next fix!
