Tropical Green Slushie is made with only four ingredients and extra ice to create a frozen treat! When the weather is hot, cool down with a refreshing and healthy ice cold green drink.
Give me a frozen drink and I am happy! I don’t know if it’s the warmer weather or the fact that I am carrying around a few extra pounds during my pregnancy, but all I want is something cold and refreshing. I drink iced water all day and then fuel up on slushies, smoothies, popsicles and frozen fruit. I created this tropical green slushie because I wanted something refreshing that I could enjoy midday while relaxing by the pool or after a long walk.
The slushie comes together in little time. Just add a handful of ingredients to your blender, puree and you are done. For this slushie, I used organicgirl baby spinach, frozen pineapple, frozen mango, coconut water and extra ice. Stay cool this summer with a healthy and refreshing green drink that even kids will love!
Today, I also wanted to share some exciting news. Organicgirl recently launced a new online shop where you can purchase an assortment of all of their products to be delivered direct to your home. They have everything from juice packages to family packs which include a combination of juices, salad dressings and salad blends. Since finding their juices is difficult in my area, I love that I can order them for delivery direct to my home. As a special promotion, organicgirl is offering 10% off your first order with the promo code GIMMETEN. If you try the service, come back and let me know what you thought and what type of recipe you made with the fresh juice, dressings and greens.
