Chocolate Covered Strawberry Ice Cream is a delectable sweet treat that you can enjoy all year long! Sweet cream ice cream, fresh strawberries and chunks of chocolate create a simple yet flavorful treat!
Chocolate Covered Strawberry Ice Cream – it tastes as good as it sounds! A few simple ingredients creates an ice cream flavor that you will want to make again and again!


  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup strawberries chopped into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips or chunks


  1. In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, heat 1 cup of the heavy cream, sugar and salt to a simmer, stirring occasionally. Once sugar is melted, remove from heat and stir in remaining cup of cream, milk and vanilla. Chill mixture in the refrigerator. Once chilled, freeze the mixture in your ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions. Gently fold in strawberries and chocolate. Store in a freezer-safe container in the freezer until ready to serve. Enjoy!
