Mango Sorbet

Mango sorbet is an easy recipe made with real mangos! Cool down with a double scoop of this fresh and flavorful sorbet made with only five ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 2 large mangoes peeled, seeded and cubed
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons dark rum
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  • In a blender or food processor, combine the mango, sugar, water, lime juice, rum and salt. Puree the mixture until smooth. Chill mixture thoroughly in the refrigerator. Freeze in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Storage
To properly store mango sorbet, transfer it to an airtight container and store it in the freezer for up to two months. When ready to eat, let the sorbet soften on the counter for about 15 minutes before scooping and serving.
