Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 ½ cups prepared ranch dressing
  • 3 ½ cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 6 slices crispy bacon crumbled
  • 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese shredded, divided
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley minced (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350˚F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Add the cream cheese and ranch dressing to a large bowl and warm in the microwave for 20 seconds. Add the ranch dressing and use a rubber spatula or wooden spoon to mix until well combined. Stir in the shredded chicken, bacon, and ½ cup of cheddar cheese.
  • Place the slider rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Carefully cut the rolls horizontally and set the tops aside.
  • Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the rolls. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over it, then set the top half of the rolls in place.
  • In a small bow, melt the butter. Whisk in the garlic powder and pepper, then use a pastry brush to spread it over the top. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan.
  • Cover the pan with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Carefully remove the foil and continue baking for 5-8 more minutes, until the cheese is melted and roll tops are golden brown. Garnish with parsley if desired before serving.

Notes

Making Ahead: Assemble the sliders completely, cover them tightly with plastic wrap, and refrigerate until ready to bake. When baking from cold, add an extra 2-3 minutes to the cooking time.
Double the Recipe: To make a larger batch, double the ingredients and use two baking dishes or a larger pan. You may need to slightly extend the baking time to ensure everything is heated through
Storing: Keep leftover sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days to maintain freshness.
Reheating: Warm sliders in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes. If microwaving, heat in 30-second intervals until warmed through, but bread may get soft.
