Pan Fried Pineapple

A delicious pineapple treat that is prepared in less than 10 minutes. Serve it sweet or savory!

Ingredients

  • 1 small pineapple cored
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

  • Cut the pineapple into bite-sized pieces. (See video below for how to cut the pineapple.)
  • In a large bowl, mix together the pineapple, brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the butter.
  • Once the butter is melted, add the pineapple pieces in a single layer and fry for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
  • Serve as a side dish or with vanilla ice cream.
