Homemade herbs and seasonings are some of my favorite things to grow and make at home. I love clipping fresh oregano from my herb garden and drying it. It is even better when I can make my own seasonings and rubs at home. The recipe for Homemade Taco Seasoning isn’t anything special, but it is one that you need to have.
I make almost everything I cook and bake from scratch. Mostly because I love cooking and baking, but also because it is cheaper to do so. You probably already have all of the ingredients in your pantry. Pie crusts, ice cream, cupcake frosting, and even seasonings are more fresh and less expensive then if I bought them premade. Taco seasoning is easy to make at home and I use it all the time. I make at least a double batch and store it in a medium jar for use in a few meals. I use it for meals like tacos, chicken enchilada soup and my new favorite one pot meal that I will be sharing soon.
