Are you jumping for joy or a little sad that summer is almost over? I usually have mixed feelings about the arrival of fall. Summer has always been my favorite season but I love the cooler weather and delicious fall flavors.

So bring on the flavors of fall! Apple, pumpkin, squash, pears! I love them all. Add some fall seasonings such as nutmeg and cinnamon and you have the best fall flavors. Today, I have a great way to start the day and a great addition to your weekend brunch. Apple Coffee Cake Muffins are filled with chunks of apples, topped with crumbled topping and drizzled with sweet glaze.

I made these. Good recipe. The topping was absolutely delicious! The muffin itself was a little dry. I am not sure if that is because of the apples I used? I am not sure what they were, they came from my father in law’s tree. I would definitely make them again but probably increase my apples to 1 1/2 cups.

    • Ashley

Hi, Becky! I’m glad to hear that you liked the muffins. You can definitely increase the amount of apples or try a different type.
