A classic strawberry margarita with freshly squeezed juice and plenty of fresh berries! A margarita is the perfect way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo!
Strawberries are not only my favorite berry, they are my absolute favorite food. I am pretty sure I could survive on strawberries, water and chocolate. In celebration of my favorite berry, this week will be dedicated to five all-new strawberry recipes. I promise there will be something for everyone, from healthy to sweet and everything in between. At the end of the week, I’m sharing a round-up of over 50 strawberry recipes. Let’s get the week started with a classic homemade strawberry margarita perfect for Cinco de Mayo.
Not only am I celebrating with new strawberry recipes all week, I am also excited to help Naturipe Farms kick off the Very Berry Month of May. Naturipe berries are always fresh, flavorful and incredibly berrylicious! With organic varieties available, Naturipe berries are a great way to add something colorful and nutritious to every meal.
So what makes the perfect margarita? Freshly squeezed juice and plenty of fresh berries. Oh, and the tequila helps too. Did you know that citrus enhances the flavor of berries? The acid in the limes helps bring out the strawberry flavor in this margarita. This recipe is quick, easy and can be adapted depending on your taste.
